PowerBrace®
The PowerBrace® is specifically designed as a permanent solution to correcting cracking block, tile or wood, or poured concrete foundation walls with minimal disturbance of the area. Wall shear is a common problem that plagues block wall foundations. When this occurs, a separation occurs along the top of the first coarse of block and the entire wall begins to creep inward. Constant movement, expansion, and contraction of soil outside of foundation walls can create cracked or bowed basement or other subterranean walls. Unless stabilized, it will become irreparably damaged.
The patented PowerBrace® is able to reverse the process of buckling and bowing in basement walls, reinforcing the walls and even, over time, moving the wall back to its original position. This process is completed without excavation or interior work or removal of concrete from the basement floor. Instead, steel I-beams are installed with Powerbrace® brackets, which transform the traditional beams into the most reliable bracing system available.
Unlike wall anchor systems that rely on moving soil to stabilize a foundation wall, the PowerBrace® utilizes the natural strength of the concrete floor and floor joist to stabilize the walls economically and practically. The special design of the PowerBrace eliminates the possibility of wall shear, making it the most reliable and cost effective produce to use on a cracked or bowed foundation wall in the market!
